Question by LD: Celebrating kid’s birthdays with family that doesn’t get along?
We had the idea of having our children’s birthday celebration at our local zoo. This will be a party for our two oldest children (they were born on the same day) and will be for family (aunts, uncles, grandparents & cousins). We will be inviting twenty-one adults and four children, not including my husband, myself and our children. We plan on providing food, beverages and cake for everyone.
Because of the cost involved in paying for everyone’s admission to the zoo, we were wondering if it would be wrong for us to expect the guests to pay for their own admission to the zoo ($ 10 per person)? This would not be a financial hardship on anyone. We had planned on paying for the four children’s admission.
